This is the reason why we want to let you know that Mundus has continued to work during the lockdown period, having the chance to reflect and prepare for the mid and long term future of our mobility projects and collaborations with you.

International Erasmus+ project Youth Workers Mobility  “Dare to Care” Youth violence is a global public health problem that ranges from bullying and physical fighting to more severe sexual and physical assault and even homicide. Effective prevention of violence among adolescents and young adults is a key strategy for reducing the rates of bullying, gender-based violence and school dropout, and empowering social inclusion.

Strategic projects. On the May 7th, the KickOff Meeting of SAAM - Supporting Alliance for African Mobility took place during an online conference. SAAM is a pilot project founded by the European Commission and led by Asociación Mundus.  It is an alliance between African and European countries and it is composed by 19 African organizations from 16 different countries and 17 organizations from different 8 European countries.    

ESC - Volunteering. At the end of the volunteering experience of the European Solidarity Corps, each volunteer writes a document in which he or she describes his learning path: the YouthPass. 

On 12 and 13 March the training course of the project European Youth at the Frontlines of Active Citizenship: A Roadmap towards a collective "South-North-East-West" Momentum was held in Zaragoza.

Asociación Mundus statement. From Asociación Mundus we believe it is necessary to share with partner organisations, participants, families, organisations and collaborating companies our position and action regarding the epidemiological incidence of COVID-19.

Asociación Mundus – Un mundo a tus pies, located in Zaragoza and Barcelona, has been designing, coordinating and implementing different European projects for several years. These projects aimed at the international mobility of European youngsters. Its main activity is sending and hosting VET (Vocational Education and Training) students throughout Europe.

Within a first-order VET Pilot Program, we coordinate a project that will pilot mobility flows of VET teachers and students during 40 months internationally, in addition to a series of results in educational curricula pathways. The project is bringing together more than 36 international partners. The management of this project requires a project coordinator.

Strategic projects. In a map, Souadi starts to put a line with a string that starts from Morocco and arrives in Spain: it is the path of her life. She used a map, color, pictures, strings and stickers to tell her story. 
A post-it describes her education, since the years at school until the degree in law. And then, some words about her marriage and her son. A star represents the beginning of a new life in Spain. In the end, a picture of students at the last day at school that represent her dream: a better future for her son after graduation, in Europe. 

Erasmus+ Internships. One hundred young VET students met in Zaragoza on 15 and 16 February to prepare for their internships abroad. ¡A Europa, pues! is a training that students do before leaving abroad. We organise this meeting in collaboration with schools in Aragon, La Rioja and Catalonia, to prepare students about interculturalism, conflict management, Erasmus+ documentation and other relevant aspects of mobility.

European Youth at the Frontlines of Active Citizenship: A Roadmap towards a collective “South-North-East-West” Momentum, a project within Key Action 3 of the Erasmus + programme to encourage participation and empowerment of young people in more disadvantaged areas, launches in Skopje (Macedonia). The end goal is to investigate together with these young people innovative ways towards active participation in democratic processes in Europe.
