VET studies. The European vocational Skills Week begins: it is a week where we celebrate VET projects as a quality learning path which is growing year after year. 
For this year, we have also been invited to Helsinki as a winner because we had created one of the best events in VET: Can Europa 2019. 

Strategic partnership. Between the 30th September and the 6th October 2019, the Erasmus+ seminar training took place in Palermo, Italy. The target group was the 12 youth workers who participate in the job shadowing activity of the Edu-Action 2.0 project, an initiative to tackle early school leaving and the use of non-formal education to prevent it. Luís Cancio and Clara Ribera, together with 10 other participants from Kenya, Uruguay, Nepal, Estonia and Italy, attended the preparation of the “job shadowing” of the project, a period of two months where the 12 participants will be trained in the field of non-formal education as a tool to prevent school dropout.

Strategic projects. Asociación Mundus visited the Educational Center Da Vinci College in Dordrecht (Netherlands), with other partners who take part in the strategic project The VET Learner Journey, in which we are one of the international partners. This visit was part of this strategic project and it took place within the frame of one of the coordination meeting.

My Story Map is a strategic project of the Key Action 2 of the Erasmus + (KA2) program and is funded by the European Commission. Here you can read more about this project, its objectives, activities and actions.

Strategic projects. The training was held in Pau (France) within the framework of ARTEM, a strategic project that seeks the inclusion of migrants in European countries through the history maps and the creation of local time banks.

Erasmus+ Sports. Asociación Mundus takes part in the project Building Healthy Communities, Changing Opportunities (BHCCO), through which we have created an online platform to promote Education Through Sport. It is a tool to share and find good practices to apply in both a formal and non-formal education context.

Strategic project. Between September 2 and 3, the last meeting of partners of the BELLE project, a strategic project coordinated by Mundus, was held in Sofia (Bulgaria). In this meeting, the next steps for the final stage of the project have been defined and the lines of action on dissemination have been established.

VET Sending. Asociación Mundus’ Can Europa 2019 has been selected by the European Commission as the second best event for promoting Vocational Education and Training, among more than 430 registered events.

Strategic projects. The ARTEM partner organizations - Pistes Solidaries, Replay Network, CATRO, Verein Multikulturell, Vifin, Mundus Association, l'Accorderie and Pina - have presented the results report on the first action of the project. This is a research and focus group phase to determine what are the impressions of newly arrived migrants in Europe and workers in this area regarding the tools of inclusion in society as active citizens of the EU.

This is a project co-funded by Erasmus + through the European Commission.

ESC vacancies. Asociación Mundus in cooperation with Fundació EVEHO is looking for one volunteers to join a group of 7 volunteers in total as part of the European Solidarity Corps programme. The volunteer we are looking for must be between 18 and 30 years old, residents in a programme or partner country and willing to share their time and initiative with young minors with fewer opportunities.

This volunteer project is co-financed by the European Solidarity Corps and covers the flight, accommodation, food and pocket money, travel insurance and language course (OLS).

Training course. Between July 26 and August 4, three Mundus members participated in the Erasmus + seminar on fake news What the Fake. The objective was to share good practices against false news among the participants, who came from several European countries, especially in view of their application to youth work in each local context. In this chronicle, Lorena, Bárbara and Irene tell us how this Erasmus + experience went.

Training course. In August, the "Green for Life" training course was held in Lefkada (Greece). The project aimed to promote good practices in relation to sustainability and the responsible use of resources. This is the testimony in which one of his participants, Andrea, tells us how the experience has been.

WORK AT MUNDUS ASSOCIATION BARCELONA !

We are looking for young people with Youth Guarantee (or possibility of having it), from 18 to 29 years old, to join our Barcelona team with the “Joves en Pràctiques” program. We are looking for three different profiles: Communication, Accounting and European Projects.

At the end of July we were in Budapest, at the European Youth Center, meeting with other European entities in order to share tools to optimize and standardize the quality assessment of European mobility projects. In this event, an app and a manual to carry out the evaluations were presented, and different action plans were worked on for its use and dissemination to multiply its impact.
