Irene Felices, Alberto Castro y Cathaysa Martin are three youth from Spain who are realizing a European Voluntary Service in Romania, with the organization Youth Community Association (ACT). They are collaborating with other volunteers from all over Europe in the ACT Together project, which promotes the dissemination of European volunteer programs at the local level.

European Solidarity Corps vacancies. Mundus Association is looking for 22 ESC volunteers 18-30 years old for a long term European Voluntary Service project which will take place from September 2019 to June 2020 (10 months) in Barcelona and surrounding areas.

EVS in Romania - Testimony. Good news is still coming from Craiova, Romania, where Marta Aparicio, Inés Peinado, Elisabet Clariana and Belen Hafner volunteer for the Action Changes Things (ACT) project of the Associatia Comunitati pentru Tineret organization. They have already passed the equator of the project and this is what they tell us.

EVS in Romania. Ana Gómez and Francesc Ferran were the people selected to be part of the Second ACT project, a six-month European Voluntary Service (EVS) in the municipality of Bailesti, Romania, with the organization ACT ONG. The two, together with 3 other volunteers from Portugal and Italy, have prepared a dossier summary of the educational project which has led them to organize activities of all kinds with students from the region, such as intercultural conferences presenting the traditions of their countries , language courses, personal development workshops and events of all kinds to promote mobility programs, culture and active participation of local communities together with volunteers.

Yousseff Issa is our Sevillian volunteer in Lisbon. Since the beginning of October he has participated in the "Differences make you grow" project in Lisbon. This mobility has been possible thanks to the Proatlântico host association and the Erasmus + program, which is funded by the European Voluntary Service. Ten months in Lisbon, collaborating in a foster home for boys and girls and with all expenses covered thanks to the Erasmus + program. Within the framework of the activities planned within the Erasmus + program, co-financed by the Directorate General for Education and Culture of the European Union, the Spanish National Agency has organized a training course on arrival for the participants of the European Voluntary Service, who have recently joined Catalan organizations to carry out their volunteer projects.

The students of the IES Miguel Catalán who had previously submitted their application to participate in the Erasmus + VET program have attended the round of interviews at the center to decide who will finally live an experience of professional internships abroad.

On Saturday, November 24, the International Volunteer Day was celebrated in Santa Coloma, which is officially commemorated on December 5 around the world, to recognize the work of people who volunteer. On this occasion, the City Council of Santa Coloma de Gramenet has coordinated the event from the Punt de Voluntariat, making it coincide with the 25th volunteer awards ceremony of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
