This is Marta Albújar, new signing of Mundus for communication and youth projects

The Mundus team continues to grow! Marta is a journalist and researcher who has just joined the Mundus communication department, thanks to the Joves in Youth Guarantee Practices program. This Extremaduran, lover of koalas and hater of olives, is responsible for internal and external communication tasks and coordinating youth projects from the Mundus office in Barcelona. As is tradition, we present it below with the famous personality test of Mundus. Welcome Marta!

Who is Marta?

Marta is an Extremaduran girl, a vocation and training journalist, very serious on the outside and quite the opposite on the inside. She has done a doctorate on television, but has no television at home. She loves movies and series and going to the gym. She is drawing up a plan to one day be able to do all those things at once.

What is your role in Mundus?

I am part of the communication department at the Barcelona office and I also coordinate projects in the Youth area. I am in charge of writing and uploading content to the web and social networks, internal and external communication tasks, dissemination ... And whatever comes up!

One reason why you like Mundus:

I like it because working in Mundus is like being all the time traveling without leaving the city.

Personality test

A song you don't stand:

The alarm clock. What rage gives me!

Your favorite ice cream flavor:

That one of Stracciatella that my grandfather bought me summers on the beach.

A book you would read again:

Essay on blindness, by José Saramago.

Something you can't stand:

The olives. I have found more people who are going through and we will soon set up a global alliance to outlaw them.

An unconfessable mania:

I can't sleep if there are open drawers or closets in the room.

An indispensable work tool:

Coffee as gasoline and music (whenever possible) as decorated.

A destination to lose yourself:

Las Hurdes, in Cáceres.

If you were an animal what would you be? Why?

It would be a koala, because they spend 22 hours a day sleeping, and the rest of the time they are eating. And they are sooooo soft!
