Nikola, EVS with Mundus in Barcelona: "I wanted to try something new, get out of my comfort zone"

We interview Nikola. Days before the end of his 6-month volunteer, our Macedonian EVS volunteer, Nikola, sat in the Mundus interview chair to tell us a bit of his experience. We do not steal much time, you have to pack and say goodbye to all the people who have gone through their path of volunteering in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. A hug and see you on the Mundus!

1. Why did you decide to volunteer in Spain?

I have been here as a tourist. I really liked it and that's why I think I decided to go back.

2. What has your EVS consisted of?

Mainly in my project I helped and did activities for children and adolescents with fewer opportunities. I also taught English and many other things.

3. Why do a European Voluntary Service?

I decided to do EVS because I wanted to try something new, leave my comfort zone and travel and meet new people.

4. What do you like most about living in Barcelona?

What I like most about living here is the life that the city offers. There is always something new and different to do.

5. And once it's over, would you repeat the experience?

Yes, of course I would do it again if I could. In fact, I will recommend it to all my friends.
