Mundus collaborates with ATADES to welcome students in international internships

Erasmus + VET Aragon. The Asociación Tutelar Aragones de Discapacidad Intelectual (ATADES) and Mundus have signed a collaboration agreement to cooperate in the reception of international internship students. This April, 30 Bulgarian students from the field of agricultural studies will carry out their professional training practices at the Gardeniers Special Employment Center.



ATADES is a private entity oriented to the assistance and protection of people with intellectual disabilities throughout their life cycle. Thanks to their social commitment, Asociación Mundus and the entity have signed a collaboration agreement to welcome young people in internships around Europe. This April, 30 Bulgarian students of agricultural studies will make a formative stay at the Gardeniers Special Employment Center, where in addition to doing internships in organic farming, they will receive a customized training by an agronomist from ATADES.

Gardeniers is a center with 40 workers, of which 34 are people with intellectual disabilities, who, together with technicians and engineers, grow vegetables throughout the four seasons of the year. They also do gardening work for individuals and institutions of the Government of Aragon. The Bulgarian student group, which will make a one-month stay thanks to mobility grants for Erasmus + VET vocational training, funded by the European Union.

To complete the beginning of this collaboration, the Mundus Zaragoza team in full went yesterday to visit the facilities of the Sonsoles Residential Center, where the facilities of ATADES (Biomass energy center, Ecological Farm, hectares for the cultivation of vegetables and vegetables, etc.).
