Quique Miana, director of Mundus in Zaragoza, visits AXXEL, a Finnish VET center, with which we collaborate by sending and hosting vocational training students. This center is a benchmark in the training of VET students in the Nordic country.

Mundus has been in Madrid as a guest at the European Solidarity Corps event: volunteering and solidarity employment, organized by the Office of the Representation of the European Commission in Spain together with the Minister of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare, María Luisa Carcedo. Our partner Ruth Palacios, Mundus volunteer coordinator, has participated in the My Experience in the European Solidarity Corps round table, together with young former participants in volunteer projects.

The students of the EMT Granollers Institute who had previously submitted their application to participate in the Erasmus + VET program to carry out their internships abroad have attended the interview round at the center to decide who will finally live a professional internship experience abroad.

We continue to introduce the great people who work at Mundus. Now it's the turn of Pilar, our Zaragoza-based VET project coordinator (FP internship abroad) in Zaragoza. Pilar is responsible, among many other things, for taking care of every detail in the reception of students arriving from European institutes to carry out their internships in Aragon companies. We introduce you to Ruth Palacios, our volunteer program coordinator at Mundus. This Catalan is an inveterate traveler. At eighteen she left her small town on the coast of Barcelona to live in the city. Since then, she has not stopped moving through different places, and today she continues to dance for the world. This is Kike, our mobility coordinator at Mundus Zaragoza. This young man from Zaragoza joined the Mundus team in 2017 to be in charge of the coordination of the VET program of professional training practices abroad. Come in and meet him!

MUNDUS has participated for the second year in the annual EfVET conference, an independent association that brings together professionals, centers and professional training organizations (VET). This year, the conference was held from October 23 to 27 in Como (Italy) and has been an opportunity to exchange good practices in this area.

Our colleague Iva Perkovic is, as she says, "the only blonde and the only Croatian in the office." She arrived at the team to take charge of the coordination of VET practices in Zaragoza and to rejoice with her permanent smile. Do you know Hugo Fernández? This Zaragoza is part of the Mundus family since the beginning of 2018 and is responsible for coordinating projects in the Aragon community. He tells us that he likes working at Mundus because there is always something new to do and because he loves meeting new people every day. [Santaco EVS] June: "Sh **". It was February and suddenly we are at the end of June. Sh**. Just one more month and it's almost over. It is so difficult to see things with a clear perspective and therefore tell past stories when everything is too close and going too fast. Sometimes it's like you're eating live things. You are not able to really tell how it has been until you have digested them. Other times it is enough to see a photo of a specific moment to give it a certain nuance of nostalgia and tell a story under the influence of idealization.

Arantxa with her energy and vitality is the technical director of the Zaragoza office and is part of the commercial department to change the lives of all those young people who come to Aragon to carry out their practices and to let Zaragoza steal their hearts a little. But what is behind Arantxa?

Mundus Association, in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Tarragona City Council and the Mediterranean Games Foundation organizes the project "EVS in XVIII Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018", co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program and the Generalitat de Catalunya

The project brings together 143 volunteers from 25 different countries, including a group of 9 refugees hosted in Catalonia, who stay and live in the Educational Complex of Tarragona. The volunteers arrived in Tarragona on June 7 and will be until next July 8, participating in"EVSMeGa" which aims to connect the young population of Asia, Africa and Europe in a sports competition, through the promotion of geopolitical and cultural integration of these continents in the Mediterranean area.
