[Santaco EVS] April: "If you never sleep you can never wake up." April has been absurd. It has been a rare mixture of summer and winter alternating every day or sometimes every three hours. If time went through oscillations and swirls the same thing happened in our lives. This month was filled with travel and visitors from different parts of Europe. Friends camped in our living room while others occupied the bed of who decided that April was a good time to fly crazy like a bat.

EVS VACANCIES FOR 2018-2019!

EVS vacancies. Mundus Association is looking for 4 EVS volunteers 18-30 years old (from Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria or France) for a long term European Voluntary Service project which will take place from September 2018 to July 2019 (11 months) in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona) and Barcelona city. Depending on volunteer´s profile they will help in different tasks related to activities for youth & children with fewer opportunities or helping in Mundus office with communication, dissemination and visibility in the local community.

Paula, 31, a native of origin, inveterate and passionate traveler of the sparrows, is the culprit that the students of Aragón formative cycles leave Erasmus to do their internships abroad. She started working at the Zaragoza office a little over three months ago, and among the students she is already famously known as "Paula Mundus". Want to know more?

On February 7, 5 new European volunteers arrived from Italy, Austria, Hungary and France to help MUNDUS and other organizations in Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Barcelona until August 2018.

They are 🇮🇹 Rebecca, 🇦🇹Selin, 🇭🇺Sára ,🇮🇹Capa (Nicola) and 🇫🇷Guillaume, and they arrive through our Erasmus + projects "ReactEVS" and "Rodalies de Europa II".

Adele Ramacciotti is 27 years old and joins the team of Italians at our office in Mundus de Santa Coloma. She comes from Viareggio, in Tuscany, famous for its Carnival. It seems that she fell in love with Barcelona through an EVS ("an experience that has totally changed my life," she tells us) and stayed. If you talk to her, don't forget to pronounce the "e" end of her name!

Carla Valeria Martínez is another of the new additions, also in the Erasmus + VET shipping team. You will find her in the office of Santa Coloma always working with her headphones and music. She is 25 years old and is from Barcelona since a lifetime. As an important fact, we would highlight that she likes unicorns very much. Keep reading and meet Carla!

We continue to introduce new members of the Mundus team. From Santa Coloma to Girona. There is Clara Ribera, communication assistant and mobility project manager in the capital of Girona. Know her!

Lately, the MUNDUS family has grown and we want to present the new members properly. We start with Luis (yes, with an accent that is Galician). That said: it comes from the land of mussels and octopus, but has walked long before sitting in the office of Santa Coloma. With all of you: Luís Cancio!

In accordance with Resolution TSF / 1779/2017, of July 13, 2017, we have received a grant for the practical recruitment of 3 young beneficiaries of the Juvenile Guarantee Program in Catalonia.

This recruitment is co-financed by the Juvenile Employment Initiative and the European Social Fund 2014-2020, with a co-financing of 91.89%.

Erasmus + interviews. On November 9, the Les Vinyes institute of Santa Coloma de Gramenet hosted the day of personal interviews of the Erasmus + VET internship selection process for vocational students who attend a medium or higher degree cycle in one of the three institutes of the location.

This year, more than 100 students from the Les Vinyes, Puig Castellar and La Bastida institutes attended throughout the morning to conduct the final interview before nine different courts made up of more than 20 professors from each of the centers and members of the MUNDUS association.
