WORK AT MUNDUS A SSOCIATION BARCELONA !

We are looking for young people with Youth Guarantee (or possibility of having it), from 18 to 29 years old, to join our Barcelona team with the “Joves en Pràctiques” program. We are looking for three different profiles: Communication, Accounting and European Projects.

IMPORTANT! The hiring will be subject to the approval in September 2019 of the three places presented in the project. The organization reserves the right to delete or modify one or more of the offers depending on the approval of the places.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Asociación MUNDUS is a non-profit organization, created in 2013, which currently has offices in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona), Girona and Zaragoza. Our main task is to manage international training and mobility projects - practices, volunteers, exchanges, courses - for young people, promoting education in values, intercultural learning, or volunteering through non-formal education.

We are looking for up to three young people who like to work with and for young people, who can join our team in September in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona.

MISSION OF THE POSITION AND MAIN TASKS​

COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT: You will carry out different communication and dissemination actions of Mundus activity and its projects. The expected training profile is that of a person licensed or graduated in journalism, communication or homologous professional training.

The main tasks of the position are:

• Social network management (planning, design and content creation)
• Weekly update of volunteer opportunities and other opportunities on the website
• Content creation for the blog and its publication in networks
• Contact with the media
• Design of campaigns to promote the activities of the organization
• Design and creation of promotional material for the organization
• Management of internal communication between the entity's workers
• Image and video editing of the events organized by the entity

ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT: You will perform the administrative and accounting tasks that are carried out in the day to day of the entity. We are looking for a person who has a Higher Degree in Administration and Finance or a homologous training.

The main tasks of the position are:

• Support in the accounting and document management department of the entity
• Support in the management of the invoices, payments and collections of the entity
• Management of documentation related to the justification of European projects
• Management of the tax and accounting documentation of the entity
• Economic administration of the entity's projects
• Cash Flow Control
• Management of payments and collections that the entity must make in its day to day

EUROPEAN PROJECTS: Technical management of Erasmus + projects of international mobility of various kinds. We are looking for a person who has a higher degree or any type of university training in the field of Sociology or Psychology or training related to the social or humanitarian field.

The main tasks of the position are:

• Drafting, management and implementation of Erasmus + projects for young people: strategic projects (KA2), volunteering of the European Solidarity Corps, youth exchanges, etc.
• Accompaniment and tutoring of Erasmus + participants from different European countries
• Design and support in cultural activities for Erasmus + students
• Documentation and resources for projects
• Coordination with foreign partners
• Activities carried out locally
• Report writing and project reports

In addition, in all three positions, you will sometimes help the rest of the MUNDUS team in:

• Accompaniment and tutoring of Erasmus + students from different European countries that carry out internships in Spain.
• Design and support in cultural activities for Erasmus + students
• Writing reports and reports of projects or Mundus activities
• Creation and dissemination of communication materials and communication campaigns for young people

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of spoken and written English (minimum at B2 level).
• Knowledge of Spanish at the native level or C2.
• Previous experience (at least as a participant) in European projects for young people
• Formal or non-formal training in the field of social education, teaching, psychology or similar.
• Knowledge in project management and non-formal education methods

It will be positively assessed that:

• You have participated in international mobility activities (Erasmus + or similar) and / or volunteer projects
• Speak a third and / or fourth language.
• Have you worked as a monitor, director of leisure activities or similar

REQUIREMENTS
The requirements for hiring are marked by the Joves en Pràctiques program. The recipients of subsidized employment contracts must:

• Be beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System;
• Be registered as job seekers not employed (DOY) to the Public Employment Service of Catalonia;
• Prove the possession of a university degree or vocational training of medium or higher degree, or officially recognized degrees as equivalent, or a certificate of professionalism, which enable them for professional practice;
• To fulfill the requirements that the modality of the work contract in practices requires.
• Young people who have participated in the Program at the call of the 2017 and 2018 exercise may not participate in this year's call.

Remuneration: € 15,000 gross / year.
