With the kick off meeting begins "My story map"
On November 15 and 16, the kick-off meeting (inaugural meeting) of the project "My story Map" took place, of which Mundus is a part. This is an initiative financed by Erasmus + under Key Action 2, and which we will carry out over two years together with organizations and institutions from the world of education in France, Belgium, Austria, Italy and Spain.
"My Story Map" is a Strategic Innovation Partnership coordinated by the Piaget-Díaz Institute in Rome (Italy) in collaboration with Pistes Solidaires (France), Eurogeo (Belgium), die Berater (Austria), Replay Network (Italy) and Mundus, all of them sharing experience in the field of education, adult education, non-formal education and education aimed at youth.
The objective of My Story Map is twofold: on the one hand it aims to motivate people who have abandoned studies to take them back; and on the other, to prevent people at risk of abandonment from leaving their studies. The project will give the opportunity to 100 young people who have left the school to tell their story through storytelling techniques and digital maps, so they can get away from their own story and see it with other eyes and at the same time acquire digital skills and empower them to return to study. These personal story maps will be used at the same time to tell your stories to students who are at risk of dropping out, and prevent them from leaving.
Asociación Mundus was present at the kick-off meeting in Rome from November 15 to 16, where short-term objectives were established and the work plan for each partner organization was determined.
