[Erasmus + VET] Training weekend before leaving
Erasmus+ VET. Last weekend, May 28 and 29, the Erasmus + VET boys and girls of the vocational training institutes of Santa Coloma de Gramenet- Puig Castellar, Les Vinyes y La Bastida–
They participated in a weekend of intercultural training given by the MUNDUS team. Through informative talks and activities based on non-formal education, students were soaked in everything that the experience they are about to live will entail.
In less than a month, these more than thirty students will depart to different European countries - Italy, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Turkey or the United Kingdom - to carry out an internship period. Together with them, Roger Borrell, professor at the Institut Puig Castellar and coordinator of the project, also attended the meeting.
MUNDUS is part of a consortium signed with the City Council of Santa Coloma de Gramenet and vocational training institutes to present and carry out international mobility projects for local students.
In the Albergue Juvenil Josep Maria Batista i Roca in Masnou, we carry out team building activities, language practice, and discovery of interculturality through theater and sports. In addition, we were able to delve into the fears and expectations for the adventure that this mobility project entails for them.
During these two days, the group coincided in Masnou with another group of Polish students who just did their Erasmus + VET practices with MUNDUS in Spain and left home. In this way, the local group was able to see firsthand what this program consists of.
