"TOGETHER FOR A BETTER VET" arrives in Zaragoza
TOGETHER FOR A BETTER VET, a KA2 project dedicated to improving the quality of Vocational Training mobility, held a training course organized by Mundus in Zaragoza
From October 26th to 28th, a LTTA (Learning Teaching Training Activity) of the KA2 project "TOGETHER FOR A BETTER VET" took place at the Mundus headquarters in Zargoza. This project in which Mundus participates is led by Zespol Szkol Ponadpodstawowych in Bystrzyca Klodzka and focuses on improving the quality of mobility projects promoted by partner institutions in the Vocational Training sector, creating a wider network of contacts and improving the group supervisors skills. The short-term objectives are the preparation of accompanying teachers during this type of mobility of the Erasmus+ programme, the creation of materials that serve as a guide for future companions and the exchange of good practices between the partners.
In “TOGETHER FOR A BETTER VET”, in addition to international meetings, several training courses are also held, such as the one that was celebrated in the Aragonese capital at the end of October. In this training it was possible to collect a series of good practices and different points of view after allowing both the accompanying teachers and the tutors of the companies to relate their own experiences. This valuable contribution will be part of a guide that will serve to train supervisors who will travel with students doing internships abroad.
During the course, two companies with experience in hosting Erasmus students were also visited: Colortech, from printing services, and Aida Gastro, restaurant. Likewise, the group had a meeting with two educational centers (Colegio La Purísima and IES Tubalcain) and Alberto Vela, Mundus Association VET sending technician: "It was very interesting to be able to share experiences of accompanying personnel with professionals so committed to international mobility. Thanks to meetings like this one we can better empathize with all the agents involved in the Erasmus+ programme and continue to walk towards higher quality," says Alberto Vela.
According to Ania Kurska, this LTTA gave an excellent opportunity to gather good experiences and have an important space to exchange different point of views: school representatives, teachers, companies mentors and owners, coordinators of the intermediary organizations - everyone with its unique background and experiences. "I am more than sure that this project will improve the quality of the Erasmus+ mobilities and will help the group supervisors to be better prepared for the challenges and their role as a mentors of the young generation students", adds Ania.
Many thanks to all the participants of this activity!
