The first group of students of the year arrives in Zaragoza
Erasmus + VET. This week we received in Zaragoza the first group of vocational students who will do their internships in Aragon thanks to the Erasmus + VET (Vocational and Educational Training) program. They are the first group of 2019, a year in which we expect to receive around 1,000 European students.
This is a group of 17 students from Croatia, from three different centers, which belong to a consortium of vocational education centers with the purpose of facilitating international mobility and learning experiences abroad for their students.
These young European students of architecture, hospitality construction, secretariat and technical facilities come from the Ekonomsko - turisticka skola center, from Tehnicka skola Karlovac and Mjesovito industrijsko - obrtnicka skola, all of them located in the city of Karlovac, Croatia.
It is the first time that Mundus receives a group of Croatian students, and it is also the first of the year, in which, around 1,000 European students will come to Zaragoza to do their professional practices of the training cycle they study. This experience is thanks to the Erasmus + VET program and the collaboration between Mundus, local companies in Aragon and professional schools in different European countries, including Poland, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Portugal and Croatia.
Dozens of companies in Zaragoza and Aragon in general will welcome students in European internships, thus committing to quality professional training, a connected Europe and an increasingly international Zaragoza.
