The BELLE project - Better and Easier Access to LifeLong Learning in Europe begins
BELLE project. The Mundus Association will coordinate over the next two years the Erasmus + KA2 project "Better and Easier Access to LifeLong Learning in Europe" (BELLE) funded by the European Union.
This project is carried out by 5 partner organizations from 5 countries of the European Union: Horizont ProConsult EOOD (Bulgaria), Mine Vaganti NGO (Italy), FM Consulting s.r.o. (Czech Republic), Veseligas attistibas skola (Latvia) and Visoka poslovna skola PAR (Croatia).
The main objective of the project is to respond to the need to enhance adult training in Europe with and encourage adult participation in educational processes and vital learning, as well as in international mobility projects. It is intended to facilitate adult access to lifelong learning opportunities in Europe.
The BELLE project will involve the development of educational materials and tools that stimulate the participation of individuals in training activities and quality learning processes, with the ultimate goal of acquiring new skills and integrating or returning with more tools in the labor market. In addition, part of the educational materials that will be created during the project will be addressed directly to educators who work in the field of adult education in order to facilitate their work, especially with adult students with fewer opportunities. In this way, BELLE will also focus on strengthening the profiles of the professionals that operate in this sector and increasing the quality of the educational offer that the educational entities propose.
An online platform will be created composed of different modules of standardized courses and translated into 7 EU languages with the aim of facilitating access to lifelong learning and encouraging better participation of students and professionals in the educational and training field of different countries.
In October 2017, a first meeting (Kick Off Meeting) was held between BELLE's partners in Zaragoza to discuss the general lines of the project and plan the next steps. The creation of a project website was launched and each partner organization began working on the development of educational modules for the web platform. The next meeting will be in Prague (Czech Republic) in April 2018.
The website will be open and available to all those who want to work on their personal and professional development. Through the platform "students" will have the opportunity to access different learning modules on different topics: LifeLong Learning, personal development, interculturality, EU opportunities for adults, entrepreneurship, development of digital skills, etc. The link to This website will be accessible from the website and social networks of the MUNDUS Association.
