"Mind the app", exchange in Italy
Youth exchange in Italy. From September 3 to 11, 2018, the "Mind the app" youth exchange took place, a project aimed at deepening the use of social networks among young people and how to use them in a more profitable way. The participants on their return, tell us how unique this youth exchange, funded by Erasmus +, has been for them.
Hello!!! We are a group of 6 Spanish girls from different parts of Spain who participated in the 'Mind The App' exchange in Schio, Italy, from September 3 to 11, 2018. Our youth group was composed of Elena de Córdoba, Gladys de Barcelona, Mireia de Girona, Michelle and Nicole from Madrid and Julia from Girona, our fantastic group leader who has accompanied us on this adventure.
For us it has been a wonderful experience. It is very difficult to explain it in words because if you do not live something similar, we do not believe that this feeling can be understood. From the moment we got together, we managed to create a very special bond between us and day after day our confidence was increasing.
We know that this friendship that we have created will last a long time and, above all, thanks to this experience, we take thousands of memories and people with us.
At the time of arriving at the house, which was going to be our home for a week, we felt welcome. Little by little we got to know the groups and introducing ourselves was not a difficult task. Although we were a fairly large group and with many people we ended up being a big family.
The coexistence was very pleasant, every day we did different activities related to communication and social networks, which was the subject of exchange; They were very dynamic and each one of them helped us to get to know each other much more.
Despite being away from civilization, we visited Schio several times, in addition to going to Vicenza before and on the last day to Venice, which for us was a most special and unexpected day.
Another activity that we enjoyed a lot were the intercultural night, which brought us gastronomy, customs, songs, etc. of the participating countries. We noticed each of the activities, we always had a very positive attitude and we also encouraged the rest of the group to participate in games that we proposed in our free time.
Finally, we encourage all of you, if you have not participated in something similar, to encourage you to live an experience like this. This will always be unforgettable for us and we believe that we must live it sometime in life.
