Innovation Competition Contest looks for young people with ideas to change the world
Erasmus + contest. Would you like to carry out a project to promote one of the Sustainable Development Goals in your local community? We are looking for youth groups from the provinces of Barcelona and Girona with ideas to help improve the planet and the society of the future. Present your idea before February 20 and if you are selected you will participate in an international training course (Bulgaria, April 2018) and we will help you to carry out your idea (€ 1,000 per project). One project will be awarded per province. Dont miss the chance! This initiative belongs to LACE for SDG, a project funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus + program.
What do you have to do to participate in the contest?
1. Find out about the Erasmus + project LACE for SDG and what are the 17 Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
2. Think of an idea, related to one of the 17 objectives, that you would like to carry out in your local community and gather an action group (at least 3 people) to help you develop it. The members of the group must be between 18 and 30 years old.
3. Fill in this online form before February 20, 2018.
And after that?
1. If the idea meets the requirements (group of young people between 18 and 30 years old, from the provinces of Barcelona and Girona with a project on one of the Sustainable Development Goals to be implemented locally), we will help you complete the Final form of the competition.
2. On March 1, 2018 we will announce the winners (1 project from Barcelona and 1 project from Girona).
3. From April 7 to 13, 2018, 1 or 2 representatives of the winning projects will travel to Bulgaria to meet the winners of the other 6 countries participating in LACE for SDG. There you will participate in a Training Course specially designed to acquire skills that help you carry out your ideas.
4. Between May and July 2018 you will carry out the project with the help of the MUNDUS Association team and with a financing of € 1000 per project.
What will be valued for each project?
We look for ideas with an innovative character, that help solve a problem, that are realistic and can be carried out, that can generate a concrete impact on the local community and the public to which it is addressed and that can be sustainable over time.
