In memory of Alberto Tortolero
Alberto, it’s difficult for me to write to you knowing that you can no longer read my words. Firstly, we deeply miss the friend you were, the tireless individual who had the ability to motivate anyone with your words and your dedication to your work. I hold onto memories of your generosity, remembering you as someone who was good and never hesitated to give yourself entirely to those you loved, regardless of the cost. Besides being friends, you made me a part of your life’s project, MUNDUS, and for that, I am grateful. Thank you for infecting me with your dream, for allowing me to be a part of it, and for considering me a brother on this journey we embarked on together.
You lived that dream, and I lived it with you, experiencing it intensely through laughter, tears, and challenging moments. But above all, we carried an immeasurable hope that still lives on today, shared by all of us who are currently involved in MUNDUS. I want to express my gratitude for this dream that has flourished and would never have been possible without you.
Now, I miss the friend you were, and I can only recall you through the moments we spent together, both in our intense work and personal lives. From everyone at MUNDUS, we send a sincere and affectionate hug to your family, hoping to provide them with support during this difficult time.
Alberto, you will be missed.
Quique Miana
