Europe for VET+ ongoing: visiting and learning in the companies of Wroclaw

VET Sending. Third meeting for the partners of the Europe for VET + project in Wroclaw (Poland). We went to Wroclaw to define the next steps in the Europe for VET + strategic partnership. The objective of this project is the exchange and the standardization of good practices in the field of the vocational training mobility. We also had the opportunity to visit some local companies that have successful stories in hosting Erasmus + students.

The third international meeting of the Europe 4 Vet + project was held in Wroclaw at the beginning of July. On this occasion the partners focused on finalizing the schedule for the preparation of the Compendium of knowledge that will arise as the outcome of the project and to prepare the stays of practices that will be carried out for three professions: construction, logistics and mechatronics. The idea is to work together to improve the internship stays of the FP students and, during our next meeting, which will be hosted by Mundus in October, the proposed programs will be finalized.

During this meeting, the future plans and the development of the project were also discussed, and some new procedures established. But the most remarkable part were the visits to meet and learn from two leading companies based in the city of Wroclaw: Robert Bosch Sp. Z o.o and Collins Aerospace. The advices and teachings of its employees and coordinators will be a defining element to establish and improve the procedures in the reception and sending of internship students in Europe.

Europe for VET+ is a strategic partnership (KA2) funded by the Erasmus + program and it is about the management and implementation of Erasmus + mobility projects in the field of Vocational Training (VET). The main objective of the project is the exchange of good practices and the creation and implementation of standards among different actors that host or manage professional training practices abroad. This project results from the collaboration between five European partners, from vocational schools to entities that welcome student internships in Europe.
