Description of the activity

We are looking for 4 ESC volunteers 18-30 years old for a long term ESC project which will take place from January 2021 to November 2021 in various Catalan towns. Depending on the volunteers' profiles, they will help in different centers and with different tasks related to activities for youth and children with fewer opportunities.

Fundació Eveho promotes and develops projects and actions that enable social and occupational integration and inclusion of young people at risk of social exclusion.

Due to the crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent restrictions, we will host volunteers who are resident both in Spain and abroad.

Depending on the profile of the volunteers, they can volunteer in Eveho's centres with minors and young people:

• A place to work with children from 3 to 16 years old in Mataró
• A place to work with adolescents from 16 to 18 years old in Sabadell
• Two places to work with young people from 18 to 21 years old in Sabadell

Some of the activities are the following: 
- Participation and creation of new workshops and creative-innovative activities. 
- Participation and organization of cultural outings and "colonies" for the users of the centre. 
- Participate in the accompaniment of the users.

Accomodation, food and transport arrangements

This project is founded by the European Commission. The project covers: 

• Travel costs (up to the limits established in Erasmus+ Guide distance calculator). 
• Accomodation and local transports are covered by the hosting organisations.
• Pocket money and maintainance support: 280 euros/month

Participant's profile

- Young volunteers (18-30 years old). 
- Interested in social/youth work. 
- A motivated, sociable, proactive, open-minded, tolerant, creative, self-reliant person. 
- Someone who doesn´t want to come to Catalonia for vacations.
