About my EVS:

Why did you decide to do an EVS?

Because I didn't know what to do after the summer and since many years I was planning to do an EVS trying to succeed before I was 30 years old. And the opportunity presented itself, here I am. Well, I was also tired of continually moving without stopping and I was looking for a place to live in a long term and put some roots.

I had different interviews and took different ones into consideration, but in the end, I ended up being selected for a project in Barcelona, which was very close to my expectations, so I decided to go for it.

Why an EVS?

Because if you are reading this article, it means that your path will surely lead on this way one day and just go with the flow without; for me an EVS is the best volunteer program available among many others! The other programs do not allow you to live without worringsive, you have to have savings, with this project instead no.

What is your EVS about?

My project consists in accompaning people with disabilities at work and in doing some activities with them. In the morning there is what we call the labor part, that consists of producing key chains bracelets etc. to distribute in stores in Barcelona. And for the first part of the afternoon I encourage workshops (meditation, restoration, walking, French course ... etc and in the second part of the afternoon we go fo leisure activity in the community such as basketball, pool, zumba, yoga , karate and so much more

What is the thing you like more about living in Barcelona?

For sure the that France is nearby which allows me to receive a visit from friends. And of course the cultural activity of the city and its traditions.

Once you will finish, are you going to repeat this experience?

Of course!
