About your EVS:

Why did you choose to volunteer?

I wanted to improve my level of spanish language and to have a possibility to live in another country; I like to help people, especially kids in this case.

What is your project about?

I work in a center with kids that come from families with less possibilities. I help the mentors with the activities and the games prepared for the kids. Moreover I prepare the food for them and i help with other necessary tasks.

Why an EVS?

Doing an EVS is a unique way to learn about a new culture, a new country and experience new things without spending a lot of money.

What are the things that you like the most about living in Santa Coloma/ Barcelona?

I never get bored in Barcelona! You can find evrything: the sea, the mountains, a lot of nice guys, good food, parties, interesting people and multiculturality. The city is very openminded and it is always sunny.

Which is your best memory?

When I met the other volunteers and get to know them, starting to discover how was going to be my next year of life.
