Call for places 2017-2018. Asociación Mundus launches the Practiq'EU TLN Mobilicat project through which 25 scholarships will be awarded for professional internships abroad. This call is intended for young beneficiaries of Youth Guarantee in the provinces of Barcelona (10 places), Girona (10) and Tarragona (5).

The registration period ends on November 20 at 23:59. If you have completed your registration, before November 22, we will contact you to let you know if you have passed to the next phase and to schedule a personal interview.

What are the objectives?
The TLN Mobilicat scholarships serve to:

-Potentiate the professional and personal skills of young people.

-Help them to enter the labor market.

Who can participate?
To enter the selection process and participate in Practiq'EU it is necessary:

-To be between 18 and 30 years old and reside in Catalonia.

-Be enrolled in Youth Guarantee (you can not be working or studying). How to sign up? / More info here.

-Be registered in the SOC as a job seeker (DARDO. More info here.

-Not be participating in any activity related to the Youth Guarantee program.

What does the TLN Mobilicat scholarship include?

The project is structured in two main phases: a previous phase of preparation and training (before departure) and the internship stay abroad. The project covers the following actions at 100% for each of the 25 participants.

1. Preparation and training phase (between December 2017 and March 2018)

-Intensive language course (120 hours).

-Professional guidance, tutoring and individualized monitoring.

-Intercultural prepration workshops.

2. Internship stay (between March 2018 and mid-July 2018 - 20 weeks)

-Experience of professional practices in companies and organizations according to the training of the participant.

- Language reinforcement course (40 hours).

-Program of monthly cultural and training activities.

-Accommodation, travel (round trip) and local transport.

- Monthly scholarship for maintenance and personal expenses (around € 500-600).

-Tutoring and monitoring in the host country.

-Follow-up for the incorporation into the labor market once the internship is finished (2 months, between July and September).

Where will the project be carried out?

The selection phase, as well as the preparation and training phase (language courses) will be carried out in the following centers:

-Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona). CRJ Mas Fonollar. Carrer Sant Jeroni 1. 

-Girona. L´Estació Espai Jove. Carrer de Santa Eugenia 17.

-Tarragona. Tarragona Impulsa. Espai Tabacalera, Carrer Vidal y Barraguer S/N.

The internship stay will take place in the following destinations:

• Forlì (Italy) - 5 participants from the Barcelona group.
• Rome (Italy) - 5 participants from the Barcelona group.
• Pau (France) - 5 participants from the Girona group.
• Wroclaw (Poland) - 5 participants from the Girona group.
• Malta - 5 participants from the Tarragona group.

Participants going to Poland and Malta will do the language training in English. Those who go to France and Italy, will do it in French and Italian respectively

-November 15 at 6:00 p.m.  "Traineeship Abroad" Day in the Oficina Jove Calàbria (Barcelona). 

-November 16 at 4:00 p.m. Informative Talk at L´Estació Espai Jove de Girona.

-17 November at 12:00 hours. Informative talk in Tarragona Impulsa (Tarragona).

2. Selection interviews for candidates from each province eligible to participate in the project.

-November 22th. CRJ Mas Fonollar. Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona).

-November 23. L'Estació Espai Jove de Girona.

-November 24. Tarragona Boosts (Tarragona)

Who finances this project?

TLN Mobilicat is a project promoted by the Public Occupation Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya and financed by the European Social Fund through the Youth Guarantee program. Youth Guarantee is a European youth occupation initiative whose main objective is to reduce youth unemployment. Through TLN Mobilicat, young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee register have the opportunity to enjoy a scholarship to carry out professional internships abroad. The Mundus Association is one of the organizations that manages TLN Mobilicat projects in Catalonia.
