"Lace for SDGs", an Erasmus training course in Bulgaria

Laia, Amaya and Victor are the representatives of the winning groups of the Innovation Competition, a contest to look for projects that will promote sustainable development goals at the local level. Part of his prize was to travel to Bulgaria and participate in the Erasmus+ "Lace for SDG" training course . Read Victor's experience during the days he spent in Pazardjik (Bulgaria).

Being part of the training course "LACE for SDG (Learning Acting, Creating and Education for the Sustainable Development Goals)" has been a very enriching experience for us, both personally and professionally.

The knowledge that we have acquired on the Sustainable Development Goals and on project management will be of great help and will facilitate the development of our respective projects around the SGDs we have chosen.

But without a doubt, the best of all has been the non-formal education that we have received during the course days, both by our trainers and by the rest of our classmates. Sharing experiences with other young people from different parts of Europe, sharing ideas, learning about new projects, sharing experiences in the field of volunteering and sustainable development, etc., has helped us to open our eyes, motivate ourselves even more and see that we are not alone, that many young people in the world, like us, are working altruistically to improve the living conditions of others.

In short, we have been as sponges that we have absorbed to the maximum all the information, knowledge, values and experiences that have been possible, and now, back to Catalonia, we will squeeze that sponge to the maximum, to throw our projects forward and so that with everything acquired in Bulgaria, we can help improve the world from here.

We can only thank the Mundus Association for all the work it does so that young people from around the world can enrich themselves with European experiences like this and many others. And above all, motivate young people to venture out of their comfort zones to live life experiences, all over the world, conducting trainings courses, volunteering, exchanges, work or university practices.
