Job GPS II, youth exchange in Romania
Erasmus + project in Romania. Job GPS II has been a project aimed at young people between 16 and 24 who have participated in a youth exchange on employability and job opportunities in Horezu (Romania). Our participants David Rubiales and Pau Pérez have told us on their return how the experience has been and their personal impressions.
When we got on the plane we were alone, full of nerves and illusion. We didn't know where we were really going or who we were going to live with. Once we landed in Romania, we began to meet our partners in the project. It was a very varied and numerous group, since we met people from Spain, Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria and Cyprus, and in total we were sixty. All those strangers would soon become part of our great family.
In Romania we learned new things about employment, about our skills and possibilities in Europe, and about all the advantages offered by Erasmus +. But that was not all, we could learn more about Romania, its landscapes, its inhabitants, its gastronomy, its customs and its current situation. In addition, through intercultural nights we could also know a little about the gastronomy and customs of the countries of the rest of the participants. Every night we did a kahoot with questions about the different countries, and it was a very fun way to meet different realities to ours.
We can say that it has been one of our best experiences, so we recommend that everyone have this opportunity not to let it go, because they will not regret it: it is a must in life. We would return without thinking about it.
