"INspire", Erasmus + course in the Czech Republic
From September 12 to 19 Sara and Ignacio participated with Mundus in 'INspire', an Erasmus + training course for youth workers, in which they learned to teach young people to discover their skills in the labor market. This course was organized by ANEV - Asociace neformálního vzdělávání, z.s.
That's how it was and Ignacio Ruiz tells you through a text that has brought us back.
When Sara and I learned that we were the ones selected to participate in the Inspire training course, we didn't know how lucky we were to be. Our expectations were high, as was our insecurity, having never participated in a training course.
Now we can be proud and satisfied to have been part of this pleasant and complete experience. This training has given us tools to work in our respective offices. It has been a training aimed explicitly at social educators and teachers, and as such, I could not feel more grateful for the seriousness in which the course has been carried out. Both the organization and the trainers have been exemplary. Being a week living with ex-officio colleagues from all over Europe led by three professionals has been intense and rewarding.
We have returned home with references, with tools, with experiences and, of course, with new friends. We could not be more grateful to have been able to share this adventure, to have known the ancient and magical city of Prague and to have been able to walk through the thick and thick forests of the Czech Republic. We could write a list of memories that are going to cost us to forget, like spending a whole night surrounding a fire inside an Indian teepee or how a professional in your field individually advised us how to behave in a job interview through your personal observation. All these countless anecdotes cannot be explained, they have to be lived. We are convinced that thanks to this training we will do our job better, we will have a much more panoramic view of youth workers and we will know more about ourselves and what we are capable of. Our sincere thanks to the Mundus team and the project organizers for giving us this opportunity. We hope to repeat in another training as useful, serious and practical as this and we encourage others to participate in these formations.
Thank you very much and we'll see again soon!
