Erasmus+ company Msisabis material machining company located in Zaragoza, which for almost four years has hosted European students in practice thanks to the Erasmus+ VET scholarships, the educationrogram of the European Union that encourages the mobility of vocational students by offering them the possibility of make a training stall in a work center in a foreign country.

 

 


Ïtw a way to open the company¨, explains Sergio Leon, headof the Comercial Deartment of Msisab,whic does not doubt the mutual benefit of having european students within the team in the day to day of the company.

Since Msisab have already established processes to make the most effective reception and both the comany and students can make th most of the period that lasts the practice (usually 4-6 weeks). From the day they arrive, a person from the company makes an introduction to the company and a training that lasts between three and four days. From then on, students already have clear objectives and an being to be autonomous by putting into practice what they what they know and what they are learning throughout the practices.

¨We practice English, they bring joy and they infect us with illusion¨ Leon says. These are young people from countries such as Poland, Bulgaria or Italy, among others, who are eager to learn. ¨They are very hard workers¨, he adds. Sergio Leon does not hesitate to say that the vast majority of young people who have hosted Msisab have the door open to the company if the return to Zaragoza.

Thanks to the reception of students of training cycles from other countries through the Erasmus+ program, Msisab puts its grain of sand in the construction of Europe. Leon believes that ¨we are in a unique community¨and the Erasmus+ initiative is a way to make our culture know and to know other ways of working.
