[INTERVIEW VET] How two Erasmus VET students created an e-commerce in a month

Erasmus+ Company. Startup Grind Zaragoza is part of our extensive network of companies who host VET students to offer them the opportunity to do an internship abroad in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, in the field of VET. During a four-months internship in Spain, two Polish youngsters, together with their mentor, created an online shop to sell  a device to prevent hackers to attack our privacy through the cameras of our phones, tablets and laptops.

Victor Muñoz is the director at Startup Grind Zaragoza, and was the person in charge of mentoring the two students in order to help them meet the established goals. Through a clear working plan, which was previously designed, the students were almost autonomous in the creation of NOHACKYESFUN. The website is an online shop to sell protection devices to prevent privacy attacks throught our phones, tablets and laptop cameras.

The two youngsters, both programming VET students in Poland, together with Victor Muñoz, established weekly goals to finally be able to launch the website at the end of their traineeship. In the posdcast Workast, produced and presented by Francisco Marcén, they explain how was the creation process and what they have learned thanks to this experience.

Muñoz explains that becoming a hosting company for the Erasmus+ programme has brought energy and freshness into his team, has given the opportunity to speak English at work and has given a multicultural perspective to the company.

This experience was possible thanks to the Erasmus+ VET programme, a European Union initiative to promote VET mobility among students and staff at a European level.
